Position Title: Senior IT Project Analyst
Business Division: Information and Communication Technology

Primary Purpose of the Job:

  • The IT Senior Project Analyst assists in establishing the IT PMO function by engaging in formulating the strategy, structure, framework, principles, charters and extensive execution of unified project management methodologies to meet business goals, reduce ICT costs and improve existing solutions.
  • The analyst additionally manages the projects portfolios performance metrics, identified risks, knowledge repositories, organizational change and overall quality requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an appropriate/equivalent Engineering/Business field.
  • Programmed Management Office related PMOC, PgMP, PMI, PMP, PRINCE2 certifications and experience; preferably in direct application to the Oil and Gas sector.
  • In-depth understanding and effective use of business alignment tools and service strategy frameworks such as COBIT, ValIT and ITIL v3.

Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in an enterprise ICT environment, with at least 3 years of demonstrated ICT program/projects management and strategic delivery experience.
  • Excellent hands-on experience and proven record in establishing/implementing PMO strategy and framework based on international standards and best practices and inline with the organization business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Excellent experience in establishing PMO related charters, principles, methodologies, and projects performance/goal indicators to facilitate execution across the ICT organization.
  • Excellent experience and knowledge in establishing projects portfolio management, change management, knowledge management and performance management processes.
  • Extensive experience of strategic alignment, planning and execution (BSC), Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Service Level Management (SLM).
  • In-depth experience in managing and executing multiple strategic and high value ICT projects as per projected scope, time and within planned budgets.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and establishment of related processes, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and communicate within multi-cultural and multi-national workforce.
  • Excellent general communication, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to managements, staff, customers, and contractors.
