Qatar Petroleum (QP) invites all prospective Vendors (Suppliers and Contractors) interested to participate in QP Tenders or to be eligible to receive Request for Quotations to register and obtain a QP SAP Vendor Code, a mandatory requirement for the issue of Request for Quotation or Tender Documents by QP.

Effective 11th November, 2012, Tenders published in newspapers and on the QP website are available for collection for a period of two weeks only (the Tender Issue Period), unless indicated otherwise.

Tenderers can collect the Tender document during the specified Tender Issue Period only. Requests for issuance of Tenders after the specified Tender Issue Period will not be entertained.

QP reserves its right to specify a Tender Issue Period different from the above and to revise the same as and when required, based on its operational requirements.

Tender Description:

SHUTDOWN MAINTENANCE WORKS FOR NGL-1,2&4 PLANTS,GAS OPS ,MESAIEED CONTRACTOR shall undertake and COMPLETE the complete Turnaround maintenance works of Static equipment, including without limitation all Instrument, Electrical, Civil and PCR works inclusive of Valves and related pipe-works in NGL 1/2/4 Plants and utilities areas associated to NGL complex, Gas Operations at Mesaieed Industrial Area, in accordance with the specified job list and Scope of Work, detailed job plans, Specifications, Standards and Codes of Practice. The Plant Turnarounds are scheduled tentatively as below for an approximate period of 28 days each inclusive of Plant decommissioning & commissioning. ,,Plant,,,,From ,,,,To ,,NGL4,,,,,,18-Feb-12,,17-Mar-12 ,,NGL2,,,,,,01-Nov-12,,28-Nov-12 ,,NGL1,,,,,,01-Mar-13,,28-Mar-13 Planning and execution of WORK includes various Turnaround related activities including but not limited to Multidisciplinary Maintenance, Inspection and Repairs of piping, equipment and systems; scaffolding / insulation / painting related activities, supply of manpower services, equipment and miscellaneous resources as per the scope of work in the tender document. ,, CONTRACTOR shall be an ISO accredited Company with demonstrated capabilities/certifications in ASME "U" & NBBI "R" Repairs activities." In case CONTRACTOR does not have capabilities/certifications in ASME "U" & NBBI "R" activities, a SUB CONTRACTOR with demonstrated capabilities/certifications in ASME "U" & NBBI "R" activities shall be engaged for carrying out those activities which require these capabilities/certifications. CONTRACTOR shall be able to mobilize its SUBCONTRACTOR within 12 hours of notice during the Turnaround.
