Tenders are published regularly in the local newspapers by Qatar Petroleum for supplying materials and equipment and works and services for various departments. Reasonable prices and good quality are the basis for selecting the best bidders.

Qatar Petroleum (QP) invites all prospective Vendors (Suppliers and Contractors) interested to participate in QP Tenders or to be eligible to receive Request for Quotations to register and obtain a QP SAP Vendor Code, a mandatory requirement for the issue of Request for Quotation or Tender Documents by QP.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: INTRODUCTION OF TENDER ISSUE PERIOD OF TWO WEEKS

Effective 11th November, 2012, Tenders published in newspapers and on the QP website are available for collection for a period of two weeks only (the Tender Issue Period), unless indicated otherwise.

Tenderers can collect the Tender document during the specified Tender Issue Period only. Requests for issuance of Tenders after the specified Tender Issue Period will not be entertained.

QP reserves its right to specify a Tender Issue Period different from the above and to revise the same as and when required, based on its operational requirements.

EPIC FOR PHASE 2 LANDSCAPING IN RAS LAFFAN

Tender Description:
As part of RLC's green cover initiative, Phase-1 of the landscaping covering Ras Laffan Avenue, Aysha Street and part of Tariq Street was completed in 2009. A FEED to provide Scope of Works for EPIC packages for Phase 2 and 3 of an integrated landscaping water network and soft & hard landscaping has been completed. Based on the above, it is proposed to take up the EPIC for the phase 2 of the Landscaping Project in RLC under this tender package. The EPIC contractor shall verify existing design information and undertake the residual design and detail engineering activities for carrying out the Soft / Hard Landscaping of all roads and buffer zones covered under phase 2, including the piping network in RLC as per the drawings/documents to be issued with the tender. The works are broadly divided into four areas, namely: ",,1.Treated Industrial Water (TIW) collection, storage and pumping system ",,2.Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) system ",,3.Landscaping Mains and Distribution Network ",,4.Hard and Soft Landscaping. The major work items include ",,4 No Tanks for TIW Storage (2 No. @ 5640m3 & 2 No. @ 6330m3) and 2 No. associated Pumping Stations, Buildings, etc. ",,Approximately 150 km of HDPE Pipework for TIW, TSE and Landscaping Mains and Distribution Pipework. ",,Soft and Hard landscaping along approximately 100 km of roads and buffer zones, including control systems.

d) All bidders shall ensure that the business/company name, contact persons and other details in all relevant documents to reflect the details as stated in the commercial registration documents.

e) Bidders/Contractors, who are registered with QP and possess a QP SAP Vendor ID, shall with immediate effect ensure that any change to the vendor details is updated with QP by submitting a duly completed Vendor Master File Update (VMFU) Form to ensure smooth processing of Tender, Contract and Payment related matters without any delay.
