Tenders are published regularly in the local newspapers by Qatar Petroleum for supplying materials and equipment and works and services for various departments. Reasonable prices and good quality are the basis for selecting the best bidders.

Qatar Petroleum (QP) invites all prospective Vendors (Suppliers and Contractors) interested to participate in QP Tenders or to be eligible to receive Request for Quotations to register and obtain a QP SAP Vendor Code, a mandatory requirement for the issue of Request for Quotation or Tender Documents by QP.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: INTRODUCTION OF TENDER ISSUE PERIOD OF TWO WEEKS

Effective 11th November, 2012, Tenders published in newspapers and on the QP website are available for collection for a period of two weeks only (the Tender Issue Period), unless indicated otherwise.

Tenderers can collect the Tender document during the specified Tender Issue Period only. Requests for issuance of Tenders after the specified Tender Issue Period will not be entertained.

QP reserves its right to specify a Tender Issue Period different from the above and to revise the same as and when required, based on its operational requirements.

Future Tenders (Engineering - Onshore Projects)

FEED FOR NITROGEN STORAGE & DISTRIBUTION FACILITY AT DUKHAN

Tender Description:
CONTRACTOR shall carry out the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and related SERVICES and to provide an Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning (EPIC) tender package for provision of a green field liquid Nitrogen Storage and Distribution Facility of low and high pressure nitrogen based on continuous, intermittent and peak consumptions and design of a high pressure gaseous Nitrogen Cylinder Filling Facility that will cater to the requirement for Nitrogen in Duk han operational areas. The work includes access/ internal roads, fence, gate house, control room, electrical substation, ELV/ICT systems, and other associated works as described in Appendix A. The new Facility shall be located close to the existing Arab-D Gas Recycling (RG) Plant in Dukhan and will have tie-ins/ interfaces with some of the existing piping, electrical, and instrumentation and control systems at RG Plant.

c) All prospective bidders wishing to participate in Qatar Petroleum tenders issued by the Contracts Department shall be a QP registered vendor with a SAP Vendor ID. To obtain a SAP ID, the potential bidder must submit a duly completed Vendor Master File Update (VMFU) Form together with supporting documents as detailed in Vendor Master Update Guidelines posted in QP Website.

d) All bidders shall ensure that the business/company name, contact persons and other details in all relevant documents to reflect the details as stated in the commercial registration documents.

e) Bidders/Contractors, who are registered with QP and possess a QP SAP Vendor ID, shall with immediate effect ensure that any change to the vendor details is updated with QP by submitting a duly completed Vendor Master File Update (VMFU) Form to ensure smooth processing of Tender, Contract and Payment related matters without any delay.
