QEWC, QPI and QH form USD 1-billion company to invest in power and water sector internationally
Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC), Qatar Petroleum International (QPI), and Qatar Holding (QH) signed a Shareholders’ Agreement to incorporate a new Qatari shareholding company that would invest in international power and water sectors.

Energy Minister chairs the Annual Qatarization Review Meeting of the Energy and Industry Sector
His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, chaired the 13th Annual Qatarization Review Meeting of the Energy and Industry Sector, which was held today at the St. Regis Hotel. The meeting highlighted the sector’s Qatarization progress in managing its Qatari human capital strategies in support of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 2011-2016.

Qatar Petroleum’s Corporate Training Department recently held an “Open Day for Public Vocational Awareness” to inform young Qataris about the various technical training programs being offered by QP to enhance their skills as well as employment prospects.
