Corporate Training

H.E. the Minister of Energy and Industry issued a decision on 14/5/1996 to form the Department of Corporate Training, aiming at making its training services available to subsidiaries and affiliated industries as well as QP. A manager and a Board of Trustees were then appointed. QAFCO, QAPCO, NODCO, QASCO, RASGAS, QATARGAS are represented on the Board of Trustees in addition to QP. The objectives of the new department are:
- Preparing Qatari school graduates to assume technical posts at QP.
- Preparing Qatari university graduates with good academic qualifications to assume appropriate posts.
- Assisting employees to improve efficiency and productivity through:
- Improving their skills.
- Promoting and updating their information and knowledge.
- Achieving compatibility between employees aspirations and attitudes and the requirements of modern industrial organisations.
- Achieving the required standard of training in the most cost effective way.
