Qatar Petroleum’s hydrocarbon products are produced from the onshore Dukhan Field, two offshore oil fields (Bul Hanine and Maydan Mahzam) and the North Gas Field.
In addition to the above mentioned QP operated fields, QP has developed various offshore fields in cooperation with major international oil and gas companies through production-sharing agreements.
All fields are located within Qatar’s territorial waters.
The Corporation is committed to utilize the latest technology to improve crude oil reserves and off-take by application of state-of-the-art technology.
In addition to the crude oil development, emphasis is on the development of the large non-associated gas reserves of North Field. Three projects; North Field Alpha, Qatargas and RasGas are already tapping the North Field; while several other major projects are in the various stages of finalization for implementation.
