Position Title: Strategic Workforce Planner
Business Division: Human Resources

Primary Purpose of the Job:

  • Participates in the development and implementation of manpower plans and manpower control throughout the corporation.
  • Provides information and advises to ensure the corporation employees the right person in the right job at the right time at the right cost.
  • Collaborates with counterparts from the development division to ensure that jobs are available for Qataris as soon as they are ready for jobs.
  • Carries out studies to diagnose and recommend the necessary courses of action to remedy any problem related to the Manpower Planning function and ensures optimum utilization/cost effectiveness of manpower resources.


  • A university degree in Business Administration followed by courses in manpower planning and Human Resource management.

Experience & Skills:

  • Must have workforce planning, talent management and succession planning background, rather than just a general HR background. (essential)
  • Supply/demand analytics.
  • A good command of written and spoken English is essential.
  • Minimum eight years in various Human Resource functions, of which a minimum of 3 years would have been in manpower planning, participating in the development and implementation of manpower plans and manpower control. (essential)
