Position Title: Lead Engineer Safety & Environment
Business Division: Bul Hanine Re-development Project


  • B.Sc. in Engineering discipline from a recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous
  • Membership in a recognised professional engineering or HSE association is preferable

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in safety and loss prevention engineering and environment engineering in Oil & Gas Industry with an Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/Contractor
  • Minimum 8 years as lead safety and loss prevention and environment engineer
  • Experienced  in developing and endorsing HSE specifications and participating in HSE studies in particular  HAZID, HAZOP, HAZAN, FRA, EIA, SIMOPS, SIL, ENVID, JHA, HCA, over pressurisation, identification of safety critical systems and sub systems and QRA for highly sour service fields
  • Experienced in international HSE regulatory requirements, codes, standards, industry best practices and company specifications and standards for highly sour onshore & offshore environment
  • Fully familiar with FEED and EPIC safety design documents (PFDs, P & IDs, data sheets, specifications etc)
  • Fully familiar with safety requirements in process & emergency shut-Down systems, deluge system, relieve and blow-down system for highly sour service fields
  • Experienced with Oil & Gas project HSE Design deliverables (e.g. HSE philosophies, HSE objectives, F&G C&E diagrams, failure modes, EERA plan, PFP and AFP specifications, BA, emergency plans, Hazard quantification studies)
  • Proven ability to manage safety, loss prevention and environmental engineering team in a major project
  • Skills in: leadership, communication and presentation
