Position Title: Lead Engineer Standards & Technical Interface
Business Division: Bul Hanine Re-development Project


  • B.Sc. Mechanical/Civil/Chemical Engineering graduate of an internationally recognized University.
  • Preferably corporate membership with recognized Chartered or other Professional Institution.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas Industry with an international consultancy company, EPIC Contractor or Oil & Gas Company in major projects implementation is essential.
  • Of the total relevant experience indicated above, the candidate should have worked for a minimum of 8 years in the position of Lead Engineer Standards & Technical Interface with an Engineering Design Consultant or EPIC Contractor in Oil & Gas Industry.
  • The candidate shall be fully familiar and experienced in all the phases of major Onshore/Offshore Projects implementation in an Oil & Gas Industry environment.
  • Experienced to the competency level of "Mastery" in Technical specification and standards development and review and experienced with the applicable international engineering codes, standards & project specifications. Previous experience with Shell DEP's is a distinct advantage.
  • The candidate shall be Experienced with interface Management tools and techniques in a major oil and gas Onshore/Offshore projects.
  • The candidate shall be experienced in defining & carrying out specifications and standards requirements impact gap analysis during early design phases.
  • The candidate shall be fully familiar with Onshore/Offshore HSE and QA/QC procedures of major projects and application there-of.
  • Proficiency level in the use of the English language (both written & spoken) should be high and must approach native speaker standard.
  • Work experience in the Arabian Gulf Countries is desirable.
