Position Title: Commissioning Specialist (Offshore)
Business Division: Bul Hanine Re-development Project


  • B.Sc. chemical/Mechanical/Electrical engineering from an internationally recognized University.
  • Minimum of 15 years offshore experience of relevant construction experience in oil & gas major projects/in portfolio multi-packages (from project Concept, FEED, engineering, construction and commissioning).

Experience & Skills:

  • Develops pre-commissioning and commissioning strategy, plan and procedures for offshore facilities.
  • Sets out and defines commissioning and operation requirement in tendering for LLI's
  • Performs risk analysis and identifies, develops and follows up on risk mitigations actions with the designers in different disciplines.
  • Has core role in management of SIMOPS, HAZOP, HAZAN, risk analysis techniques and methodologies for offshore facilities.
  • Manages, reviews and comments all pre-commissioning and commissioning related engineering deliverables to ensure safe operability requirement been fulfilled.
  • Manages team of commissioning engineers and guides their activities to achieve operational, fully functional, reliable and consistent facilities.
  • Manages all aspects of commissioning i.e. as process units operations, pre-commissioning and commissioning coordination, scheduling and start-up.
  • Manages, develops, implements and coordinates operators SPIR and standardization programs among all facilities and as practicable as possible with the existing facilities.
  • Manages, develops, implements and coordinates all engineering and vendors work for developing the operation manuals for all offshore units.
  • Manages, develops, implements and coordinates all commissioning, start up and operations activities between different projects in the same portfolio to achieve operational, fully functional, reliable and consistent facilities.
