Position Title: Commissioning Specialist (Onshore)
Business Division: Bul Hanine Re-development Project


  • B.Sc. chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an internationally recognized University.
  • Minimum of 15 years onshore experience of relevant construction experience in oil & gas major projects/in portfolio multi-packages (from project Concept, FEED, engineering, construction and commissioning).

Experience & Skills:

  • Develops pre-commissioning and commissioning strategy, plans and procedures for onshore facilities.
  • Defines & manages the coordination scheme with operation and maintenance representatives.
  • Sets out and defines commissioning and operation requirement in tendering for LLI's, communicates all operation & maintenance to the vendors and follows up its implementations.
  • Identifies, develops and follows up risk mitigations actions with the designers in different disciplines.
  • Has a core role in management of SIMOPS, HAZOP, HAZAN & risk analysis techniques and methodologies for onshore facilities.
  • Manages team of commissioning engineers and guides their activities to achieve operational, fully functional, reliable and consistent facilities.
  • Manages all aspects of commissioning i.e. as process units operations, pre-commissioning and commissioning coordination, scheduling and start up.
  • Manages, Develops, implements & coordinates operators SPIR and standardization programs between all facilities and as practicable as possible with the existing facilities.
  • Manages, Develops, implements & coordinates all engineering and vendors work for developing the operation manuals for all onshore units.
  • Manages, Develops, implements & coordinates all commissioning, start up and operations activities between different projects in the same portfolio to achieve operational, fully functional, reliable and consistent facilities.
