Education:
- B.Sc. in Mech. Engineering from of a recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous
- Membership in a recognised professional engineering association (or institution) is preferable.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 12 years relevant Offshore experience in Mechanical engineering (Static Equipment) in Oil & Gas industry with an Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/ Contractor
- Experienced in Static Equipment design fundamentals related to offshore Oil & Gas facilities for highly sour fields
- Experienced in assessment and qualification of specialist static/packaged equipment suppliers in the Oil & Gas industry for an highly sour fields
- Fully familiar with international design codes, standards and Company standards and procedure and design software packages
- Experienced in FEED & Detail engineering development and EPIC Contract execution of various Static Equipment packages encountered in the Oil & Gas Production/Processing facilities
- Familiarity with all aspects of Safety in Design including HAZOP, HAZID, QRA and Hazard quantification.
- Skills in :Effective communication and presentation
