Position Title: Lead Civil Structural Engineer
Business Division: Industrial Cities

Primary Purpose of the Job:

  • Provide leadership and technical direction to Senior Discipline Engineers, in developing and   implementing infrastructure engineering project to construct, reconstruct, and enhance infrastructure facilities and ensure timely, cost-effective, and constructible projects.
  • Lead the coordination with concerned QP Technical/Engineering Departments, End-users    in coordination with Engineering Development, Industrial Planning Divisions, Operation and Maintenance Department, QP Engineering, End Users and External Governmental Authorities and other stakeholders to formulate the necessary projects concepts, engineering plans, project execution plans and related activities.


  • Internationally recognized degree Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor Degree in Civil/and or Structural Engineering.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 12 years experience in the design, construction and commissioning of facilities related to the Oil and Gas Industry and major Infrastructure Projects.
  • Knowledge in the principles and practices of engineering as they apply to project works; the technical phases of civil engineering such as conceptual design, FEED and detailed engineering; State and corporate regulations and criteria relating to applicable engineering standards;  Personnel management sufficient  to  coordinate  and  assign work to other professional positions.
  • Able to Prepare, interpret, and use engineering plans,  maps, specifications, and technical reports; Perform mathematical computations as they apply to engineering planning, design development, and construction; Communicate sufficiently to convey information to the public, contractors, consultants, and  local governments; Provide work direction and technical expertise to other professional positions.
  • Possesses excellent leadership skills and ability to technically and administratively lead, supervise and motivate a multidisciplinary team of Senior discipline Engineers and have excellent planning, decision making, problem solving, communication, negotiating, influencing and organizational skins.
  • Excellent technical knowledge within authority area Disciplines is mandatory and in addition, shall also have good working knowledge of other disciplines in Division. Must have thorough knowledge of international standards, ability to interpret for specific application within sphere of relevant disciplines.
  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.
  • Excellent oral and written English combined with good presentation skills.
  • Experience in MS Office applications along with specialized engineering software.
