QatarEnergy has recently changed the name of its Project Engineering and Procurement Services (PEPS) Directorate’s Preferred Vendors List (PVL) to projects Preferred Manufacturers List (PML). The intent of the PML is to shortlist potential manufacturers of specific materials, equipment, systems and packages required for execution of QatarEnergy capital projects. The manufacturers from the PML can become eligible for contract opportunities to supply their selected products to QatarEnergy via the EPIC contractors.
Notes:
- The PML list is for manufacturers only and not for agents, resellers, representatives and contractors.
- The PML registration is different from the Vendor Registration. (The intent of Vendor Registration is stated under its Webpage).
- Entry on the PML is at the sole discretion of QatarEnergy.
The prospective Manufacturers may download and review the instructions and the list of current PML categories. If their product falls within a listed category of the PML Product and Category List (attached below), only then the relevant technical documents for assessment by QatarEnergy are submitted as per the attached instructions. This submittal will permit the introduction of the Manufacturer and his product to QatarEnergy's Projects for potential consideration and assessment. Submittal of technical data does not constitute nor will it initiate any pre-qualification activity for that product at this time. Should a manufacturer be selected for assessment they may be contacted for a formal presentation, technical assessment, and possible manufacturing site audit as necessary.
